 of 12 Tony Awards! A down-on-his-luck Broadway producer and his 
mild-mannered accountant come up with a scheme to produce the most 
notorious flop in history, thereby bilking their backers (all “little 
old ladies”) out of millions of dollars. Only one thing goes awry: the 
show is a smash hit! The antics of Max Bialystock and Leo Bloom as they 
maneuver their way fecklessly through finding a show (the gloriously 
offensive “Springtime for Hitler”), hiring a director, raising the money
 and finally going to prison for their misdeeds is a lesson in broad 
comic construction. At the core of the insanely funny adventure is a 
poignant emotional journey of two very different men who become friends.
 With a truly hysterical book co-written by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan
 (Annie) and music and lyrics by Mr. Brooks, The Producers skewers 
Broadway traditions and takes no prisoners as it proudly proclaims 
itself an “equal opportunity offender!”</p>
<p>Shows are June 28 - July 
20 on Friday and Saturday at 8 PM with matinees on Sunday at 2PM. There 
will be a free preview for area senior citizens on Thursday, June 27 at 8
 PM.</p>

 feisty parolee follows her dreams, based on a page from an old travel 
book, to a small town in Wisconsin and finds a place for herself working
 at Hannah’s Spitfire Grill. The Grill is for sale, but there are no 
takers for the only eatery in the depressed town, so newcomer Percy 
convinces Hannah to raffle it off. Entry fees are one hundred dollars 
and the best essay on why you want the Grill wins. Soon, mail arrives by
 the wheelbarrow and things really start cookin’ at the Spitfire Grill.</p>

In this hilarious, hopeful, and achingly human show, Heidi resurrects her teenage self in order to trace the profound relationship between four generations of women and the founding document that shaped their lives. Over the course of this solo show, directed by Beth Bonnabeau and starring Alicia Dempster, Schreck addresses themes such as women's rights, immigration, domestic abuse, and the history of the United States. Winner of New York Drama Critics' Circle and Obie Awards as the Best American Play of 2019, it was also nominated for a Tony and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama.</p>
