LLL of Greater Danbury meets twice a month. We meet the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6:30p.m. at 94 Locust Ave., Danbury (www.ctbirthcenter.com), and the last Tuesday of the month at 10am at the Church of Christ at 90 Clapboard Ridge Rd. in Danbury.DescriptionWe are a mother-to-mother breastfeeding support group dedicated to meeting the ever-changing needs of pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers and their children. Children are always welcome at our meetings. <br> <br> We cover topics such as benefits of breastfeeding, bringing home baby, avoiding and overcoming difficulties, nutrition, and weaning.<br> <br> We also have occasional enrichment meetings on topics relating to parenting or current mothers&#39; needs. <br> <br> We also have a Facebook group and a Yahoo group for members to ask questions and to post upcoming events. Please ask us if you are interested in joining.

<strong>General Information</strong><br> La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own children, and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone or email between meetings for breastfeeding questions or concerns.<br> <br> La Leche League International is an international, non-profit, non-sectarian organization dedicated to providing support, encouragement, information, and education to women who want to breastfeed. All women interested in breastfeeding are encouraged to attend Group meetings or to call a Leader for breastfeeding help.
