Carol Dores, Neighbor

Carol co-founded Positive Discipline of Western CT and is the President of the organization. She is on the international Board of Directors of the Positive Discipline Association. Carol is a Certified Positive Discipline Parent and Classroom Educator, and a Positive Discipline Trainer Candidate. She has worked with hundreds of parents of all aged children (prenatal to adult), as well as educators and staff of preschoolers through high school. Carol has written over 65 blogs for Positive Discipline of Western CT, and has an article published on Praise versus Encouragement in Compass, a Positive Discipline digital magazine. She has two adult sons and a husband of over 30 years. Their relationships continue to grow and benefit from Positive Discipline.

Carol helps parents, educators and other adults build stronger relationships with the children in their lives. She brings openness and real life experiences to share, to help facilitate the learning about ourselves and the children whose lives we impact. Carol will use research-backed principles and tools that build skills, restore clarity and confidence, and bring peace in to your home, classroom or school. She loves facilitating Parenting the Positive Discipline Way classes, as well as Positive Discipline in the School and Classroom for individual educators and staff groups. She can also come in and work with you in your classroom.
