For You, and You, and You

We’ll get back to marketing in a couple of weeks. Until then, hold on to those you love and be there for them.

I offer you the opportunity to perform 26 random acts of kindness this holiday season in honor of the victims of Sandy Hook, or even just 1.

As we are learning, there is a huge, monstrous, overflowing amount of love to go around, a massive outpouring of generosity and giving from around the globe since the tragic event just 10 days ago in Sandy Hook. This is not an evil world we live in, I refuse to believe that. I look around at the people from around the world donating thousands of dollars, at Jeff from Missouri-a total stranger -who found my blog writing to thank me profusely for pointing him to the Sandy Hook Spirit Wear website where he and his wife can purchase Sandy Hook clothes to help build school funds, to my dear friend Annmarie driving around White Plains with 26 envelopes of cash to hand out, to countless charities and scholarships popping  up to help the victims and survivors both, to the nice pie man who plopped himself down in the middle of Main Street in Newtown and handed out slices of pie to anyone passing by, to the countless folks arriving all of last week with their dogs to help brighten the Newtown kids days.

Nope, nuh-uh, this is not an evil world. It is, for the most part, a warm and loving one. The inexplicable random acts of terror and evil that pop up will not win out, not when there is love, and generosity, and a country poised to prove that notion dead wrong.

We’ll get back to marketing in a couple of weeks. Until then, hold on to those you love and be there for them.

Have a happy, happy holiday, with peace and healing to all of my friends, old and new.

UPDATE on Norma, lost dog in Newtown: Carolee Mason (Newtown's Animal Control Officer) is watchingRead More her from a distance at the moment, armed with catfood to tempt her closer. The foster mom is on her way there again, this time with chicken, and Laura is on her way with hamburger. Problem is, this dog is VERY shy, skittish and quick to run away.
