Lady Bobcats Defeat Stratford for 4th Straight Win
BHS girls soccer rallies from early season loss to rise to 5-1-2.
Following a tough 1-0 loss to Immaculate, the Lady Bobcats soccer team reeled off four wins in eight days to improve their record to 5-1-2.
First up was Notre Dame (7-0), followed by Kolbe (6-0) and Oxford (7-1). Then, in Monday's action at Brookfield High School (BHS) stadium, Brianna Grissell got the scoring started early in the second minute with what proved to be the game winner as Brookfield rolled to a 5-0 victory. Carly Cobbol added two goals and Kristen Murray and Julia DePoi one each with assists by Liz Porter and Grissell.
Goalkeeper Steph Hunt recorded her fifth shutout of the season as Brookfield's stellar defense continued its strong play.

The Lady Bobcats now go on the road for SWC games at Pomperaug Wednesday and at Bethel and Newtown next week.
