Brookfield Boys Track Compete At SWC Meet In Weston

The Brookfield Boys Track Team gave a great effort and placed third for Overall Team Scores in the SWC event held on Tuesday at Weston High School. Â Brookfield came in behind New Milford's first place finish at 105.2 and Weston's 94.

4x800 — 3rd place with a time of 8:17.28

Javelin — 2nd place Christopher Ackell, distance of 165-11; 3rd place Kevin Walsh at 163-4
Shot Put — Ackell placed 3rd with a distance of 47-1.5
Discus — Ackell placed 1st with a distance of 144-6
High Jump — Tie for 1st place between Jack Gerhert and Jacob Matthews of Bethel at a height of 6-2
Pole Vault — 1st place Jordan Burandt at 13-8; 3rd place Kirk Gardner at 12-0
