New York Man Arrested for Shoplifting

Police charge 27-year-old with larceny for allegedly shoplifting from Kohl's.

Brookfield police responded to Kohl’s at 11:06 p.m. on Jan. 4 for a reported shoplifter.

Michael Romano, 27, of Mountain View Drive, Holmes, NY, was arrested and charged with larceny in the sixth degree. He posted $500 bond and is scheduled to appear in Danbury Superior Court on Jan. 15.

Further, the sewer system on the referendum will require municipal funding since it is backed by the full faith and credit of the town of Brookfield and reduces the town's borrowing ability - the advertisement for which indicated it would not impact municipal funding.
