How does any parent know their child is safe anywhere? Let the fear control you. Be afraid of everything. Accept whatever they tell you, as long as it "protects" you from the "danger."

If found guilty, this person would be a registered sex offender under the law. Going to the prom with someone's daughter. I'd say parents had a reason for concern. You might say they don't. Parents have the option of deciding.
