Brookfield Police Seek Vehicle, Driver in Hit-and-Run Accident
Police are looking for information on a vehicle and driver that left the scene of an accident on Federal Road.
Brookfield police are requesting assistance from the public in identifying a hit-and-run driver involved in an accident at the northern end of Federal Road.
According to police, an unidentified driver rear-ended another vehicle around 10:15 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7 in the area of 1087 Federal Road, near the intersection with Route 7.
The offending vehicle fled southbound on Route 7.
From debris at the scene and witness descriptions, police were able to narrow the vehicle description to a 1999-2000 dark colored Toyota Corolla. The vehicle is expected to have front-end damage that includes a broken left headlight and left turn signal.
