Christian Willaum, 31, of Pine Drive, New Milford, was allegedly involved in a motor vehicle accident around 4:07 p.m. on Aug. 19.
Willaum failed field sobriety tests and was subsequently arrested and charged with operating under the influence of drugs or alcohol and failure to drive in the proper lane.
He was released on $500 bond pending a court appearance scheduled for Aug. 30.
