WHY ISN'T THE BRTC COUNTING DOWN TO THE JANUARY CAUCUS?

Countdowns!  We love countdowns!  We count down to Christmas, New Year's, Groundhog Day, the super bowl, and all kinds of good things.  The BRTC especially loves to count down to special events!  The BRTC counts down to ice cream socials, to annual picnics, and to elections for 2014, 2015, and 2016!  The BRTC usually, if not always, posts these countdowns on their Facebook Pages and  their websites, well in advance of the actual event.  It is fun to count down except, apparently,  for the upcoming Caucus.  They are running out of time to announce the January, 2014 caucus as it has to be five days in advance of the caucus.  The catch is that it has to be published in a newspaper that circulates in the area per regulations within their Bylaws which mirror State Central Bylaws.  Could they have put a one inch ad in the CT Post or the NY Times but not the Newstimes?  They still have time but based on their record of countdowns this seems strange.  Tick Tock goes the clock!l
