Great Escape: Spring Pampering

Take time for yourself this week with a spring pedicure.

A trip to the nail salon for a mani-pedi is not my favorite way to relax. I'm probably in the minority on this one, but I don't enjoy having the dead skin on my heels buffed away. Can you imagine? I don't like the sound of a file on my nails (it's right up there with scratching a chalk board).  I don't even like having my cuticles pushed back with a pointy little stick or trimmed with little nippers. I just can't seem to get into it.

The results are pretty and that’s what matters. Spring weather is finally here, which means it's time to break out the sandals and open toe shoes. No one wants to see neglected feet that have been hiding in boots since November.

To enjoy this spring prep more fully, add a little luxury. I think a hot stone foot massage and sea salt scrub might help. Maybe a reflexology treatment and a chocolate mud mask for the lower legs will do the trick?  Take a step into the luxury pedicure options at the . Check out their full menu of pedicures, including the rose champagne or almond and milk pedicures.

These treatments sound tasty enough to help anyone (even me) to relax, escape and get ready for spring.

I would recommend supporting an increase similar to Ridgefield's which was under 2% (1.97%). If aRead More community like Ridgefield can perform at high levels with an increase under 2%, the Board of Education, in asking for almost twice that is openly admitting that they have installed inefficient management in school administration. Further, the sewer system on the referendum will require municipal funding since it is backed by the full faith and credit of the town of Brookfield and reduces the town's borrowing ability - the advertisement for which indicated it would not impact municipal funding.
