Lover of Family, Friends, Animals Tillie Pitcher, 78

Audrey J. Pitcher, 78, of Brookfield, loving companion of 33 years to Bob Fisher, died on Tuesday, June 25 at Danbury Hospital. She was born November 5, 1934 in New Milford, daughter of the late Anthony and Eva (Pokrywka) Morasco.

“Tillie” loved her family and friends dearly. She enjoyed the simple life, loved the outdoors and was always feeding the variety of wildlife in her yard. She loved to entertain her special canine friend, “Oogie.”

Tillie spent many years as a cashier for The Brookfield Market, continually making friends within the local community.

In addition to her companion, Bob, Audrey is survived by a daughter, Laura Murray and her husband John W. Graham of Pauline, SC; a son Scott Pitcher and his wife and their son of New Milford; and a step-son, Frank Fisher, of Brookfield. Also surviving are two grandchildren Robbie and Jessica Fisher; her sister, Carol Smyrski; her brother, Anthony Morasco; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Information

A memorial service to honor her memory will be held at a later date. There will be no calling hours. Brookfield Funeral Home is assisting the family.
