Lost Dog Tabitha Has Been Found

A Penny for My Thoughts: Ah, what a glorious day!

Ah, what a glorious day...Tabitha IS HOME, SAFE and SOUND!

After her journeys through Brookfield, Bridgewater and Roxbury, Tabitha has been found! Over 150 people have been searching for this 10 year old timid dog who was rescued years past by her current owner, Teressa Bridgwater.

"I am ecstatic and at a loss for words," stated Teressa tearfully. "My Tabby is home."

Amy Wibling, Kathleen Reynolds and Barbara Rodrigez received a call that Tabitha was spotted on Cross Pond Road in Brookfield. They went to this sight immediately, as they have been doing for weeks when such calls came in. Amy said, "She was barking and above her the crows were calling. I gently said, "Tabby, come on Tabby. She literally jumped into my arms."

Barbara, Kathleen and Amy are the owners of WAGS, an awesome day care facility for dogs, in Danbury.

Hundreds of volunteers — from DAWS, WAGS and the wonderful townspeople — have been posting signs and delivering flyers through out the area since Tabitha went missing some 16 days ago. Lisa Allan, a volunteer tracker from the Canine Club said, "Tabitha looks well, considering everything she must have been through."

Devon Walsh stated, "I just can't believe that this is over. Please tell all the people involved that they have our heartfelt thanks. Also, if you see any of the many posters you can take them down and have a keepsake."

Ah, what a glorious day!

The short answer is because they want to. If you spent twice at much they still would. EducationRead More personnel need to be monitored on social media like Patch.

I will lend a hand by voting yes for the school budget this Tuesday, May 21st. Teachers should notRead More have to pay out of pocket for school supplies.

Interesting that representative Scribner fails to represent Brookfield's businesses choosing insteadRead More to focus on Ridgefields.

You certainly have a way with words. Why does it "suck"?
