Images and highlights from my class at the Brookfield Craft Center

I had a great experience teaching at Brookfield Craft Center. The students were talented and gave me a good challenge, plus I had a very nice attendance for my lecture. The three days were extremenly productive. Here can see some of the work we produced in the class.

We covered:

- cutting glass

- copper foiling

- soldering

- painting

- airbrushing

- silk screening

- stamping

- firing....

... and layering of glass

I will be back in 2013 to teach another class!

If a…Read More community like Ridgefield can perform at high levels with an increase under 2%, the Board of Education, in asking for almost twice that is openly admitting that they have installed inefficient management in school administration. Further, the sewer system on the referendum will require municipal funding since it is backed by the full faith and credit of the town of Brookfield and reduces the town's borrowing ability - the advertisement for which indicated it would not impact municipal funding.
