Presentation on 4.5 year around the world motorcycle journey

At 33 years old, Rene Cormier cashed in his physical world to finance a nearly five-year, mostly solo, unsupported, and non-sponsored motorcycle ride around the world on a budget of $25/day.

The travelogue of that ride, “The University of Gravel Roads” won the Bronze medal in the 2010 Independent Book Publishers awards, the 2010 Davinci Eye award, and a finalist in the Eric Hoffer Award for Short Prose and Literature.

Rene and his South African wife Colette split their time between promoting the wonders of adventure motorcycle travel to audiences in North America and guiding motorcycle tours in southern Africa.
