BROOKFIELD DAY! Celebrate 225 Years!

On October 6th, we will be celebrating with family fun, games and Zumba, Touch A Truck (police, fire and town vehicles), live music by Higher and Higher, free food and apple cider, Senior Center Open House, and the time capsule opening.  It is being sponsored by Union Savings Bank and Newbury Village, and supported by Brookfield Newcomers & Neighbors Club, Lions Club, and Regional YMCA.  This event is free and we welcome all to come celebrate!
Parks and Recreation will be having their Annual Scarecrow Decorating Day from 12:00 - 2:00 on the grounds as well, on the grass lawn behind the Senior Center.  If you wish to make a scarecrow, please preregister with Parks and Recreation at 203-775-7311.  They will supply the hay, stakes, and directions to make one.  You will need to supply the clothing (old shirt and pants), string, scissors, and a brown bag or sack for the head and whatever accessories you would like to decorate with.
