Bethel Historical Society presents Thomas Fatone and "The Signs of Connecticut"

The Bethel Historical Society invites you to tour 169 towns of Connecticut with...

Thomas Fatone
Sunday May 4th, 2014  2:00pm - 4:00pm

If you are Nutmegger you have probably seen them in passing. You know, those blue signs that have the names of Connecticutís towns on them. Each town has one. The signs can be found on town greens, near town halls, or next to our First Congregational Church. There are 169 signs, one sign to represent each town in the state. Each sign explains the history of the town and its founding.

Over a thirteen-year period Mr. Fatone visited each of Connecticut’s towns and took pictures of these signs. The result is his book "The Signs of Connecticut"...a story about the town signs of Connecticut and the adventures he had while searching for them.
