Brookfield Election Results In [UPDATE]

Update 12 a.m. Wednesday

With all the results recorded, Brookfield conservatives swept down the line, with Republican and A Brookfield Party candidates winning every seat they were up for.

Update 8:30 p.m. Tuesday

Reporting in from both district polls, Brookfield Patch is ready to call the winners. Look to the charts above for each race.

At the polls Tuesday afternoon: Brookfield's Best Choices PAC at the high school and three generations voting together at Huckleberry.

Midday voter turnout is comparatively high Tuesday compared to other votes in town. Participation is on track to hit upper 40 percent.

Brookfield voters are headed to the polls Tuesday for the biannual Municipal Elections, including races for First Selectman, Selectmen, Boards of Finance and Education, and several Land Use boards and commissions.

Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Huckleberry Hill Elementary School (District I) and Brookfield High School (District II).

And, for the first time this year, residents can register on election day in the Registrars of Voters Office. Election Day Registration votes will be recorded and counted similar to absentee ballots.
