Frugal Family: Deals on Ink Cartridges, Supplements and Candles

Every week, we'll be highlighting great deals for area parents and their families around the Brookfield area.

This week we found a cheaper way to refill your printer ink and a sale on painting supplies. There are also two local stores having sales on vitamins and other supplements. Lastly, there’s a deal on candles to keep your kitchen smelling good. 

Recycle Ink Cartridges

Deal: Cartridge World, 109 Federal Road, Danbury is offering free recycling of your old cartridges.  They will also clean out and refill your old cartridges with manufacturer’s style ink. Then they will test the electronics on the cartridge. Their refills save you approximately 30 percent over a new ink cartridge.  Please allow three days for them to refill your cartridge.  For all businesses: when you place an order of $75 or more, Cartridge World will ship or deliver your order for free. You may also sign up for money-saving coupons at their website.

Deal: , 2 Federal Road, Brookfield is having a 35 percent off sale on supplies. They also have as coupon on the website for $10 off a purchase of $50 or more that can be used on non-sale items or combined with the sale.

Half Off Supplements

Deal: , 14 Candlewood Lake Road, Brookfield is having a “buy one get one 50 percent off” sale on many vitamins, herbs and diet products.

Deal: Vitamin Shoppe, 21 Federal Road, Danbury has a “buy one get one 50 percent off” sale going on,  The sale is on Vitamin Shoppe brand products, Bodytech, M.D Select and Food Factors.

Half Off Candles, Too

Deal: Yankee Candle Company Stores, 7 Backus Ave (Danbury Fair Mall) is having a sale on all food fragrances.  When you buy one, you get the second at 50 percent off.
