Paving will continue this week, beginning with completing Cannon Road, Ashwood Lane, Freddys Lane and Maple Tree Road. Crews will also start reclaiming Oakcrest Drive, Blackwood Road, Valley View Drive and Marilyn Road. Paving will follow immediately. The entire process is expected to last two to three weeks.
The start of our micro-surfacing has also been rescheduled for Monday. Once again it is weather permitting. Micro-surfacing is more sensitive to moisture and cold than traditional asphalt paving. The roads scheduled are Pocono Ridge Road, Vale Road, Sand Cut Road, the Silvermine bridge and the hill portion of Elbow Hill Road.
Town Engineer Ralph Tedesco expects that all of the micro-surfacing will be completed within the week.
