One Failure, Two Reinspections Required in Updated Brookfield Restaurant Scores

Inspection Scores for 86 Brookfield food establishments.

The Brookfield Health Department inspected 25 local food establishments from October to Jan. 14, with two requiring reinspection and one earning failing grade.

John’s Best Pizza in Shop Rite Plaza received a 78 during its last inspection on Dec. 12, two points below the minimum passing score of 80.

Peachwave in Four Corners scored a 94 on Dec. 26, however it will need to be reinspected before officially earning a passing grade.

El Coyote and O’Connor’s Public House also passed with scores of 93 after being reinspected on Nov. 5 and Dec. 23, respectively.

Check the interactive map and table above to see the score and date of last inspection for all of Brookfield’s restaurants and food serving establishments.

The Health Department adds this disclaimer to the inspection results:

Numerical scores are not meant to be an endorsement nor a condemnation of the establishment. Food service records are, by law, public records and are maintained on file in the Health Department, 100 Pocono Road, Brookfield.

The low scores for Brookfield Market were for the old Brookfield Market, before the recent change in ownership. Thank God the O'Donovan's bought the place. They have completely changed it around.
