The Brookfield Boys soccer team suffered a 1-0 loss in their opening preseason game against Westhill High School today. Despite the loss, the Bobcats played well as both the offensive and defensive side of the ball showed promising potential for the upcoming season. Westhill played a strong game as well, moving the ball with pace and making quick runs off the ball. Brookfield continues its preseason when the take on the defending LL State Champs, Norwalk High School on Saturday. The boys officially open up their season on September 13 when they take on the New Milford Green Wave at 3:45 on the BHS stadium turf.
