Community comes together to help plan the Grad Party 2013, Can you help?

Grad Party gearing up for all-nighter! Please support!

With the Graduation Date set for June 22, 2013, the Brookfield High Grad Party is working hard to throw an unforgettable all-night party for the 2013 Graduates of Brookfield High School.   There are 100 + volunteers involved broken into about 15 committees who are creating decorations, props and canvasing the commuinity for donations of many kinds, financially, goods and services, and prize donations.

The party started in 1986, it was designed to keep the High School graduates safe and together as an entire class for one last time before going out in to the world.  This is a totally self-funded event and we rely on donations from the Senior class as well as the community to support this important event in our students lives.

Throughout the night, there are raffles, games to play, a gym full of inflatibles, a casino, food, dancing, a hallway dedicated to Memories with collages of photos of all students and their lives and so much more all themed to an overall idea kept secret from the Graduates. At the end of the night (or early morning), the kids gather in the auditorium for the grand prize raffles, these prizes usually consist of dorm refrigerators, tvs, cameras, ipads and so much more that would befit a college student - all generously donated by stores, companies and individuals.

We are still looking for help, it takes over 40 hours to get the party set up for the night; the committess start working a few days before graduation in areas of he school not being used for exams, usually til about 11 pm every night.  There is a public walk through on Saturday afternoon with a raffle prize, and at about 11 pm that night, the school is filled with graduates ready to enjoy their last night at Brookfield High School.

Please consider supporting the Grad Party, if you have had children who have gone through the school system, then you know how valuable this night is for each graduationg class.  If you have young students coming up through the schools system, please come see the walk through on June 22, it will really WOW you.  If you can donate a gift, money or service, please do!
