Search Continues for Missing White Plains Boy

Help the Crowley family find their son Pierce.

The Crowley family of Manursing Way is asking everyone they know to help find their 15-year-old son Pierce, last seen Friday in White Plains.

As of Monday morning, White Plains police continue to search for the boy and did not have any official updates on the case.

According to a News 12 report, Crowley left New York Hospital in White Plains with a friend on Friday and went to The Cheesecake Factory restaurant. The two took a taxi to the White Plains Metro-North station and parted ways. Crowley was last seen in the cab and may have been upset.

Crowley family friend Peggy Dunne said more than 500 volunteers have mobilized to look for the Iona Prep ninth grader.

Crowley's mother sent a touching email in the hours after Pierce first went missing asking friends check teen hang-out spots such as skate parks, train stations and even Playland.

The community response has been immediate and heartfelt. Though Pierce attends Iona Prep in New Rochelle, the Rye High School Parents Organization immediately used its distribution list to get information out about the search. And parents throughout Rye, Rye Brook and other surrounding areas have been re-sending emails and newsletters throughout the weekend.

Pierce's peers have also responded lighting up social media sites like Facebook, Tumblr and Reddit with words of encouragement for the Crowley family.

I don’t personally know Pierce Crowley, but I have many friends who do know him because I live in the next town over. Please reblog this to get the word out. Pierce, I don’t know you, but we all need you to come home. Everyone loves you and misses you. Pray for Pierce.

I'm sure many mothers are praying for Pierce and his family. May the Lord watch over him and brings him back in the name of Jesus. Amen.
