Body Discovered In Lake Lillinonah Tuesday
Medical examiners are working to identify the body, found near the area where photographer Eric Langlois is assumed to have gone missing.
A body was found in Lake Lillinonah in Bridgewater just before noon Tuesday and reported to the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) Environmental Conservation (EnCon) Police.
The area the body was found is across the lake from Lovers Leap State Park, where 33-year-old New Milford resident and Brookfield grad Eric Langlois went missing one week ago.
According to DEEP officials, the body was seen by a person standing on a dock at 100 Lake Lillinonah Road North in Bridgewater around 11:40 a.m. and reported to EnCon officers.
The Chief Medical Examiner has been called in to make an identification.
