Lattin's Cove / Down The Hatch kayaking (Housatonic Valley Paddle Club)

The Brookfield based Housatonic Valley Paddle Club will be facilitating a kayak/canoe paddle trip on May 18 , and invite all local paddlers to join us.  We will be launching from Lattins Cove in Brookfield at 10:15 +/-, paddle to Down the Hatch for lunch and comaraderie, and then paddle back to Lattins Cove for 2:00 pm.  The HVPC is completely free with no officers or managers--just a friendy group of local reidents who enjoy our local waterways and having fun in the outdoors

All skill levels are invited from beginners to advanced.  All you require is a kayak, paddle, pfd, whistle, water and card/cash for lunch. You must partner up with another kayak when paddling and stay together as a group. Our main focus is SAFETY.  Also..be positive and ready for a day of fun and good exercise with old and new friends from our Brookfield and surrounding communities. 

All ages are welcome from 18 to 99.  Younger with parent/guardian
