Annual Brookfield Library Book Sale Starts Thursday

Do you pay for early bird admission Thursdays or wait for $5/bag Sunday?

The annual Friends of the Brookfield Library Book Sale starts Thursday with early bird admission, kicking off the library’s largest annual fundraiser.

The book sale starts at 9 a.m. Thursday, with a $15 charge to be the first to pick through this year’s offerings.

There is no admission fee Friday and Saturday — with books, CDs and DVDs available for the listed prices — but those who show up Sunday and Monday get the real deals.

Sunday, from noon to 5 p.m., book shoppers can take as many books as they can find in a paper grocery bag (provided by the library) for $5.

Anything that is still unclaimed as of Monday morning is free.
