Incorporated Sleeping Dog Entertainment, LLC (SDE) in 1999 as an entertainment creation and business consulting firm advising clients on business development through the use of new media/multimedia production. From 1995 – 1999 SDE was a not for profit theater and film production company developing and presenting socially conscious stage plays and films. 

As an actor/producer/director he has worked on, Academy Award® nominated movies (In America 2004), Emmy® award winning TV shows (Law and Order (SVU, CI), The Sopranos, Subway Q & A, Telly® award winning commercials, Festival winning independent movies. He has directed and written, off and off – off Broadway plays. His screenplay on racism, "The More Things Change" won honorable mention in Filmmakers Magazines short screenplay contest. The script became a multi award winning short film that has been distributed among education institutions as a teaching tool. His book on digital filmmaking is currently being sold on Amazon.com and he has lectured and taught classes in film at NYU, LIU and various film festivals and seminars.

He has directed over 50 national, regional, local and internet commercials for Microsoft, Loews Theaters, BMI, Heinz Ketchup, Lever 2000, UBS, various local and regional small businesses and not for profits. He has also directed and produced corporate videos for Gartner Communications, Data Management Inc, ALSTOM Transport, Morgan Stanley and UBS.

Matt is  a big advocate of community service and is currently  on the Board of Mikeysway.org, Eastoncc.com, and the Easton Learning Foundation.
