Your Beliefs
At Patch, we promise always to report the facts as objectively as possible and otherwise adhere to the principles of good journalism. However, we also acknowledge that true impartiality is impossible because human beings have beliefs. So in the spirit of simple honesty, our policy is to encourage our editors to reveal their beliefs to the extent they feel comfortable. And if you ever see evidence that we failed in this mission, please let us know.

Politics
How would you describe your political beliefs?

I would classify myself as a moderate conservative. Politics are a growing interest of mine and I have followed them much closer in the past few years. I've had the privilege as a journalist to speak with senators and representatives in Hartford and Washington and have covered numerous political issues as well as several campaigns and debates.  I have also closely covered and appreciate local government.

As a journalist I treat both sides of the aisle with visible and apparent equality and pride myself on balanced and factual reporting.

Are you registered with a certain party?

Yes, I am a registered Republican.

Religion
How religious would you consider yourself?

I am a practicing Roman Catholic and enjoy learning about and writing about all religions.
