Academy of Dance Arts has been a part of the community since 1973. Trained instructors teach a wide variety of classes such as tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, pointe, tumbling, Irish step, funk and ballroom dancing. Along with the Brookfield location, it has a sister school in New Milford with over 250 students who participate in dance programs from the surrounding areas including Putnam county, Waterbury and Danbury.
