What To Do: Paddle Trip, Spring Fling, 100-Man Chorus

Lattin’s Cove/Down the Hatch Paddle Trip
When: 10:15 a.m. Saturday, May 18
Where: Lattin’s Cove, Danbury
Cost: Free
Description: The Brookfield based Housatonic Valley Paddle Club will be facilitating a kayak/canoe paddle trip on May 18, and invite all local paddlers to join us.  We will be launching from Lattin’s Cove in Brookfield at 10:15 +/-, paddle to Down the Hatch for lunch and camaraderie, and then paddle back to Lattin’s Cove for 2 p.m. All skill levels are invited from beginners to advanced.  All you require is a kayak, paddle, pfd, whistle, water and card/cash for lunch.

The Goddard School Spring Fling
When: 3 p.m. Saturday, May 18
Where: The Goddard School, Brookfield
Cost: Free
Description: Please join us for a fun filled day for the entire family. We will be hosting a barbeque, magician, bounce house, bake sale, face painting, arts and crafts, games and prizes, Kidsafe child ID program and much, much more!

Mad Hatter Chorus Annual Show
When: 7 p.m. Saturday, May 18
Where: Brookfield High School
Cost: $15 General Admission; $12 Senior and Students
Description: Singing group Mad Hatter Chorus returns to BHS for their annual show, including a crowd participation 100-man chorus.
