- Dawn DeCosta of Tech Savvy is hosting a course on getting all there is out of your new iPhone Monday night in Town Hall. Attendees must bring a fully charged iPhone, the $25 registration fee and know their Apple ID.

- The First Selectman candidates for the November Municipal Elections will be debating Monday night at 7 p.m. in Whisconier Middle School.

- Janine LaMendola (“Ms. Janine”) is performing her Singing and Signing Time at the Brookfield Town Hall bandstand Wednesday at 4:15 p.m.

- Brookfield Library is offering an introduction course to Windows 8 operating system Thursday night. Register by Oct. 23.

- Brookfield Social Services will be going over the new health insurance exchanges Thursday night from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
