- Local business owners are getting together at Jester’s Coffee on Federal Road Tuesday at 1 p.m. to watch the Brookfield Chamber of Commerce’s free webinar on SEO and internet marketing.

“One problem that I've always had with webinars is that I get very distracted during them,” Jon Dupree posted in the events calendar. “So let's get together as a group and watch the webinar together.”

- Positive Discipline is holding a free introductory class at Brookfield Library Tuesday night, starting at 7 p.m. Email carol@positivedisciplinewesternct.org with questions or to pre-register.

- The Brookfield and Bethel Chambers of Commerce are co-hosting a speed networking event Wednesday evening from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Best Western Plus on Stony Hill Road in Bethel (near the Danbury line). The $25 registration covers dinner, drinks, dessert and the event.

- Brookfield teens can learn to make their own memes Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the Brookfield Library. Register online by Tuesday.

- Certified Life coach Margie Blake and Reiki Master and counselor Paula LeFebvre are holding an eight-week support group for those living with chronic pain and illness. Learn more, including how to register at the event listing.

- The Brookfield Farmers Market continues through September every Friday at 4 p.m. in the Town Hall parking lot.
