Garden Club Celebrates 50 Years!

The Garden Club of Brookfield joined by friends, family and members of the Brookfield community celebrated its 50th anniversary with a luncheon at the Fox Hill Inn.

The Garden Club of Brookfield joined by friends, family and members of the Brookfield community celebrated its 50th anniversary with a luncheon at the Fox Hill Inn. Tables were decorated with floral centerpieces made by club members and the 117 attendees browsed a display of memorabilia in a timeline of club activities. The club received recognition for their fifty years of community work receiving  accolades from the Town of Brookfield, Representative David Schribner, Governor Danell Malloy and National Garden Clubs, Inc.  Thank you to everyone for the overwhelming support given for this event and to the Bigelow Tea Company for a lovely presentation on the art of brewing tea.
