Official Opening of TBTA 2012 Season
The Brookfield Theatre for the Arts is excited to announce the official start of our 2012 season with Moonlight and Magnolias opening this week!
After many exciting pre-season events, TBTA is excited to welcome you back to the theatre for Moonlight and Magnolias directed by Tom Sheehan.
Moonlight and Magnolias by Ron Hutchinson is an affectionate portrait of the legendary movie producer David O. Selznick and his collaborators as they face the daunting task of rewriting Gone With The Wind over 5 days to fashion a screenplay that will become the blueprint for one of the most successful and beloved films of all time.The result is a juxtaposition of slapstick and slavery, creativity and anti-Semitism, America's past and the present day.
