Peter Frampton Comes Alive at the Ives

The Union Savings Bank Summer Concert Series at the Ives Concert Park welcomes Grammy-winning guitarist and songwriter Peter Frampton’s world tour on July 1, 2011. 

Singer and guitarist Peter Frampton is taking his iconic 1976 live album Frampton Comes Alive! out on a worldwide tour to celebrate its 35th anniversary. 

The show will be about three hours long, featuring the entire live album plus other highlights from Frampton's catalog.  Listen to the Frampton Comes Alive! classics Show Me the Way," "Baby, I Love Your Way," "Do You Feel Like We Do," and "I'm in You."

Tickets are $27 for general admission lawn seats, and $37, $57 and $77 for reserved seats. Tickets are on sale now at 1-866-55-TICKETS or at www.premierboxoffice.com.

The album was on the Billboard 200 for 97 weeks, of which 55 were in the top 40, of which 10 were at the top.

In 1996, Frampton appeared in an episode of The Simpsons entitled "Homerpalooza," in which he played "Do You Feel Like We Do." He also made a TV appearance in the Family Guy episode "Death Lives," in which Peter Griffin asks Death to bring Peter Frampton to play "Baby, I Love Your Way" to his wife.

On November 4, 2010, Frampton appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show as one of her favorite musicians.
