Over the past three weeks, Berardi has compiled a .545 batting average, driven in seven runs, stole six bases and drew five walks. On the mound she has posted a 1.45 ERA over 50 innings, striking out 51 batters while only walking eight.

Willey, along with two other teammates, topped the list with a 4.00 grade point average.

Willey is in the midst of the Outdoor Track & Field season, most recently placing fifth in the 3000 Meter Steeplechase at a nine-way meet hosted by the Leopards, helping the team place first at the event.  As she did in high school, Willey has competed year-round for Cross Country, Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field.

Brookfield basketball's all-time leading scorer completed a successful freshman season for Franklin Pierce University.  Martelle was the fourth-leading scorer, helping the team earn a fourth-straight NCAA Division II berth.  Martelle was also a big factor in helping the team make it all the way to the Northeast-10 league championship game. Overall the Lady Ravens went 24-8 and 18-4 in conference.

Martelle was instant offense coming off the bench, playing 15 minutes a game. She averaged 6.1 points, shooting at a .461 percentage. She was the team's leading three-point shooter, knocking down 41 on the season and was second on the team in free-throw shooting percentage, hitting at a .929 clip.

Martelle scored in double-figures six times on the season, including a career high of 15 in an early season overtime victory.

Former Bobcat swimming and diving team member Adam Duffield was recently named the 2011 Atlantic 10 Swimming and Diving Student-Athlete of the Year.

Duffield, who is now a senior diver for the Minutemen majoring in Industrial Engineering, boasts a 3.602 grade point average. Duffield has been an All-Academic Conference selection three years in a row and is only the second Minuteman to ever be named student-athlete of the year.

While at Brookfield, Duffield was named First Team All-Conference and All-Academic while being a team captain in his senior year. He was the SWC diving champion in 2005-06, setting a conference record with 403.6 points.

Duffield capped off his strong senior season in the pool by capturing second place in the three-meter dive at the A-10 Championship.  Duffield finished in the top three in every meet this year, diving in both the one-meter and the three-meter events.

Duffield is joined at UMass by another former Bobcat diver, Conor Dunn. Dunn, a junior who holds the SWC 11-dive record and was an All-SWC first team and All-Academic team member while at Brookfield, took fourth place in the three-meter dive at the A-10 Championship, helping the team earn its fifth straight title.
