Lady Bobcats 1-0 Senior Night, Play For the Cure Winners

Girls soccer plays for their seniors and the cure — everybody wins.

With 10 seniors in the line-up Thursday night it was sophomore Molly Levine's first half goal that proved to be the difference for Brookfield in a 1-0 Senior Night win over SWC rival Joel Barlow.

The seniors — forwards Julia DePoi, Kylie Foldy and Carly Cobbol; middies Brianna Grisell, Kristen Murray and Courtney Morlock; and defenders Paulina Harron, Jess Becker, Liz Porter and goalkeeper Taylor Bucklin — set an inspired pace throughout the match in front of the large home crowd.

After numerous early opportunities the Lady Bobcats broke through when Morlock's assist found Levine, whose left footed strike found the net.
With the win BHS improved their record to 6-4-4 and kept their playoff hopes alive going into Monday night's regular season finale at New Fairfield.
