Tools:  Carving knifes, drills and other tools can be used to carve and etch the pumpkins.  Paint, beads and craft accessories can be applied to the pumpkins. Candles will be supplied by Scalzo Realty (property owners of Plaza South).

History:  In 2006, Boston, Massachusetts beat Keene, New Hampshire for the title of the “most lit pumpkins at one time in one place” according to the Guinness Book of World Records.  The record holds at 30,128 lit pumpkins.  It may take us a few years to break that record but we have to start somewhere.  Bring on the pumpkins!

All pumpkins will be donated to a local farm after the event.  For more information please visit www.abeadofroses.com and click on the link for pumpkin carving festival or call 203-304-9264.
