Something a little different - Floor Graphics.

Floor graphics are a unique printed advertising product that is stuck to the floor, usually inside your store or office. As with many other print advertisements, like custom banners and posters, graphics and images play a big role, and they are most effective when tied in with other kinds of advertisements.

Unlike most other kinds of print advertisements, customers are unlikely to read much text on floor graphics, meaning they shouldn’t serve as the main element of your marketing or branding campaign but rather can serve as a great way to either lead or mark your product in a retail store. However, if designed with the right graphics and images, floor graphics can still be a powerful addition to any campaign.

Given the poor compatibility with text, we recommend designing the graphic so that it ties in with graphics that are at eye level or higher in your store. For example, if you are trying to design an in-store branding campaign for a winter related product, you could put a snowy floor graphic under your customers’ feet and then a poster that has images of a wintery scene or your products covered in snow on the wall or shelf. Floor graphics give you an excellent opportunity to really draw your customers into an experience by giving your ads another dimension.

Floor graphics are an inexpensive and novel way to create brand awareness, especially in retail environments. Most customers don’t choose the brand they’ll buy until they’re in the store — strategically placed floor graphics influence this decision.

Grocery stores and retail promotions are not the only application. Floor graphics are a great way to improve safety by placing warnings in key locations. They also can act as event signage, helping to direct traffic or you can use footprints (or puppy-prints in a pet store) to help guide foot traffic. Floor graphics are catching on at trade shows, bank lobbies, car dealerships, high school and college basketball courts, museum exhibits, night clubs and many other interior applications.

The materials used are slip resistant and can be used both inside and outside, die cutting and weatherproofing are also available. The team at Unlimited Signs can install and reinstall all floor graphics on concrete, wood, tile, linoleum and even asphalt with either removable or semi-permanent adhesive. For outdoor or heavy traffic areas we have weather proof semi-permanent adhesive vinyl meant specifically for asphalt and concrete. Floor graphics or wall graphics can last 6-9 months depending on the kind of foot traffic and weather conditions they are subjected to over the course of their lifetime.
