To benefit the children of Nicaragua through Connecticut Quest for Peace, will accept donations of the following items 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, in the school cafeteria:

- Summer shoes and clothing
- Toys
- Sports equipment
- Linens and towels

1 washcloth
1 comb
1 regular-size bar of soap
1 regular-size tube of toothpaste
