Historical Society Hosts Lecture on Old Homes of Brookfield

On Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. the Brookfield Historical Society will sponsor a program entitled “This Old House That Old House.”

The event will take place at the Brookfield Library, 182 Whisconier Road (Route 25). Admission is free and complimentary refreshments will be served.

The presentation will be given by Laura Mancuso, who will discuss the historic homes of Brookfield. It will include old photographs and images   from the 19th and 20th centuries as well as documented history on some vintage Brookfield homes, thus painting a fascinating picture of the community from the colonial and Victorian eras to the early 1950s.
