Brookfield Schools Closed Friday for First Snow Day of 2014

Classes have been canceled Friday due to snowstorm Hercules.

With 4 to 8 inches of snow forecast to fall overnight and an additional 1 to 2 inches expected to accumulate before 10 a.m., the Brookfield School District decided Thursday night to cancel classes Friday.

The governor ordered the partial opening of the State Emergency Operations Center Thursday and New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo ordered I-84 in New York closed at midnight Thursday.
