Brookfield Class of 2013 Graduation Date Set
Ceremony will be at the O'Neill Center again, but at a later time than years past.
The Brookfield High School (BHS) Class of 2013 will be receiving their diplomas Saturday, June 22, with the ceremony set to begin at 8 p.m. at the O’Neill Center in Danbury.
The date is a little later in the year and the time a little later in the day than usual, BHS principal Joseph Palumbo said Wednesday, however the O’Neill Center is in high demand around graduation time and June 22 at 8 p.m. was the best date and time available.
Palumbo suggested families get together to celebrate before graduation, rather than after as they would with an afternoon ceremony, so the students can go directly from the O’Neill Center to the Grad Party at BHS.
