Last Day to Declare Personal Property
Declarations after Friday will be assessed a 25 percent charge.
Friday, Nov. 1 is the deadline to declare personal property to the Town Assessor, including unregistered motor vehicles.
Declaration forms can be downloaded above or from the Town Assessor’s website.
Residents who fail to declare their personal property will be charged with a 25 percent penalty in addition to taxes due, as required by Section 12-42 of the Connecticut General Statutes.
