Campaign Notebook: Murphy Predicts Being Outspent

Linda McMahon (R): David Collins from The Day wrote about the perceived tension between McMahon and Mitt Romney's newly running mate Paul Ryan. He says this comes from McMahon's refusal to support Medicare changes.. 

Chris Murphy (D): Murphy predicts that rival McMahon will outspend him in the general election campaign, reports the Norwich Bulletin. "I'm going to be outspent five- or ten-to-one in this election," Murphy said.  

Fifth District 

The Rothenberg Political Report has moved the fifth district race between Andrew Roraback and Elizabeth Esty from "Tilt Democrat" to "Pure Toss-Up." Nathan Gonzalez from the Report tweeted:
