Police Blotter: PRAWN Warrant; Two Arrested for Shoplifting
The following arrest information was supplied by the Brookfield Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Sunday, November 20
Mark Bivona, 35, of Towne Brooke Commons, Brookfield, was located at 6:50 p.m. and taken into custody on a PRAWN warrant for failure to appear in the second degree. Bivona was held on $1,000 bond and transported to Danbury Superior Court on the morning of November 21.

Brookfield police were dispatched to at 8:25 p.m. for a reported shoplifter who had fled from loss prevention on foot. Police units entered the area and were able to apprehend the accused suspect, Robert Cherry, 41, of Hospital Ave., Danbury.
Cherry threw the stolen merchandise in a wooded area, which was later recovered. He was charged with larceny in the sixth degree and released on a written promise to appear in Danbury Superior Court on November 25.

Thursday, November 10
Police were dispatched to Kohl’s Department Store at 3:30 p.m. for a reported female shoplifter detained by loss prevention. Gina Marie Spindle, 40, of Cedar Hill Road, Gaylordsville, was charged with larceny in the sixth degree. She was released on a written promise to appear in Danbury Superior Court on November 22.
