Police Blotter: DUI by Any Other Name; Shoplifting
The following arrest information was provided by the Brookfield Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
June 17
Darwin Tello, 29, of Pocono Road, Brookfield, was arrested at 3:46 p.m. for operating under the influence.
While being processed at Brookfield police headquarters, it was revealed that Tello had used different names in past incidents resulting in motor vehicle arrests and that there were two active warrants on file (one in Brookfield and another at New Milford Police Department). Tello was processed on all three incidents and was unable to post the $5,000 bond, being held for arraignment on June 18 at Danbury Superior Court.

June 16
Silvia Nacinovic, 55, of Corn Tassle Road, Danbury, was detained by Loss Prevention around 3:57 p.m. for shoplifting. Nacinovic was subsequently arrested and charged with larceny in the sixth degree with a court appearance scheduled for June 26 in Danbury Superior Court.
