Manning Admitted to Hospital; 'In Safe Hands'

Jenan Manning reported that her son was checked into a New York hospital Tuesday night.

Henry Manning, the missing 17-year-old , is currently in a hospital in New York being treated for an infection, his mother, Jenan Manning, said late Tuesday night on the way to see her son.

Manning had been reported missing after he , and after was reunited with his family on Sunday, however .

After contact was made, police closed the case and canceled the Silver Alert for Manning, but family and friends were left more concerned than ever.

Jenan said Tuesday that she was happy her son was in “safe hands,” but that he would need surgery for the infection and .

“We just need to get Henry well now,” she said.

He looks like a regular kid to me. Hate to be that kid when he returns to Brookfield. The bill from the PD isnt going to be a good one.

Our family is sending prayers to Henry for a full physical/mental recovery and we are thankful that he has finally been admitted to the hospital.

Thank goodness Henry was found and is now safe. I can't even imagine the pain and anguish they must have endured while he was missing. I wish Henry and his family the best on his journey to recovery. Not all families are fortunate enough to have their missing loved one return home. I am very happy and relieved for the Manning family.
